Alistair Overeem was born on 17th May 1980. His birth name/real name is Alistair Cees Overeem. He was born in his birthplace/home town in Hounslow, Greater London, England. He is Dutch-British by nationality and his ethnicity is mixed of Jamaican and Dutch. He was born to a Jamaican father and a Dutch mother. Talking about his parent's information, his mother’s name is Clair Overeem and his father's name is not revealed yet. His Dutch mother is a descendant of King William III of the Netherlands through one of his many illegitimate children. His great-great-grandfather was enslaved on the island of Jamaica.   • Alistair Overeem had his first MMA professional fight against Ricardo Fyeet on 24th October 1999 where he defeated him by submission. At that time, he was only 19.

  • In the fight, he lost via knockout in the last four seconds of the fifth round after being up on all three judges' scorecards (39-37, 39-37, and 40-36).
  • He was expected to face Walt Harris on 11th April 2020, at UFC Fight Night 172 in Portland, Oregon but due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic, the event was eventually postponed to May 16th, 2020 at UFC Fight Night 175.
