Dannii Minogue is a well-known Australian singer, actress, and television personality. She rose to fame after appearing on the television show Young Talent Time from 1982 to 1988 and then went on to act in the soap opera Home and Away from 1989 to 1990. Although her popularity as a singer had declined after her second album, Love and Kisses, was released in 1991, Minogue reinvented herself in the late 1990s as a dance artist with her third album, Girl, and it's lead single "All I Wanna Do". Her fourth album, Neon Nights, became the most successful of her career, producing hit singles like "Who Do You Love Now?", "I Begin to Wonder" and "Put the Needle on It". She spent her childhood in Surrey Hills, Melbourne. Dannii's mother, Carol Ann Jones, was a dancer from Maesteg, Wales, while her father, Ronald Charles Minogue, was an accountant. She has two siblings; an older sister, Kylie Minogue, who is also a singer, and a brother named Brendan, who is a news cameraman in Australia. Her ethnicity is mixed as she is of Irish, Welsh, and English descent while her nationality is American. She attended Camberwell Primary School and later Camberwell High School. 

Dannii's career began at an early age on Australian television, appearing in several soap operas, including Skyways and The Sullivans, from the age of seven.
