Born as the youngest child of four to his parents, Lewis was raised in his hometown alongside his siblings; a brother, Warren Capaldi, and two sisters Anthony and Danielle. “I was in a relationship with a lady, we had been in a relationship, and it had been about a year later since I wrote this song, so she seemed to be in a much happier position than I was, and I didn’t like that.
I can say this, I hated it. I wanted her to be miserable, so I wrote this song about it.”
