Shane Kilcher is an American reality TV personality known as the cast member of the reality series "Alaska: The Last Frontier". The show documents the extended Kilcher family, descendants of Swiss immigrants and Alaskan pioneers, Yule, and Ruth Kilcher, at their homestead around the greater Homer area. The Kilcher family stays without plumbing, modern heating and also hasn't used other benefits of the modern-day in the extreme cold of Alaska. They subsist on farming, hunting, fishing and prepare in advance for the long winters. The family has fascinated viewers with their simple living in the show since it was first aired in 2011 and its 9th season was premiered on 6th October 6, 2019.
