  • On 7th July 2017, she was scheduled to face Juliana Lima at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale and was flagged by USADA for a potential anti-doping violation and removed from the bout. She was then replaced by Tecia Torres. 
  • She received a two-year sanction by USADA after testing positive for Ostarine but it was terminated on 3rd May 2019 as USADA determined that the positive test was the result of an ostarine contaminated dietary supplement.
  • After the issue, she fought against Mackenzie Dern at UFC Fight Night: Joanna vs. Waterson on 15th October 2019 where she won the fight via unanimous decision. 
  • Then, she was about to face Paige VanZant on 14th March 2020 at UFC Fight Night: Lee vs. Oliveira but VanZant was forced to pull out of the fight due to fracturing her right arm. Thus, she was replaced by Randa Markos. In the fight, Amanda won via unanimous decision. 
  • Against the fight with VanZant which happed at UFC 251 on 12th July 2020, Amanda won the fight via submission in round one. 
  • On 12th December, she was about to fight Carla Esparza at UFC 256 but Carla pulled the match due to undisclosed reasons. She was then about to face Michelle Waterson on 24th January 2021 at UFC 257 but Waterson was forced out of the event. 
  • Later, Waterson was replaced by Marina Rodriguez. Against Marina Rodiguez, she lost the fight via technical knockout in round two.
