Fatima Sana Shaikh is an Indian film and TV actress who predominantly works in Indian cinema and television. Fatima began her career as a child artist in the movie "Chachi 420" alongside Kamal Hassan in 1997. She then appeared in another film "One 2 Ka 4" in 2001, in which she starred alongside Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Jakie Shroff. But she came into the limelight when she portrayed Indian freestyle wrestler, Geeta Phogat, the first Indian Wrestler to win a Gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2010, in the sports drama film "Dangal" in 2016. In the film, she worked along with Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra, Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Wasim, Suhani Bhatnagar and Aparshakti Khurana. In 2015, Shaikh appeared in the Telugu film "Nuvvu Nenu Okkatavudam". She has appeared in several films including "Tahaan", "Bitto Boss", "Akaash Vani", "Thugs of Hindostan", "Ludo", "Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari" and "Ajeeb Daastaans". Shaikh will be seen in the upcoming movie, "Bhoot Police" alongside Saif Ali Khan and Ali Fazal. She also will be featuring in a Hindi remake of the Tamil Movie "Aruvi".
