Felix Verdejo Sanchez nicknamed El Diamante ("The Diamond") is a Puerto Rican professional boxer who currently competes in the lightweight division. He is famous for winning the WBO Latino lightweight title in the year 2015 which he held till the year 2017. As an amateur, he has represented Puerto Rico at the 2012 Olympics.
In his amateur career, Felix was the winner at lightweight at the 2012 American Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament defeating the Mexican rival. He was also a Panamerican Youth Champion. He became a professional by joining Top Rank, signing for an undisclosed amount that reportedly included a bonification of $600,000 dollars as of October 2012 when Felix was nineteen. His first loss was against Antono Lozada Jr. in March 2018 being stopped in round 10. He has defeated undefeated Lauro Alcantar, Mexican Antonio Lopez, Ivan Najera, Josenilson Dos Santos, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Juan Jose Martinez before losing to Antonio Lozada Jr. On December 12, 2020, Verdejo fought for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental Lightweight title against Masayoshi Nakatani and he became the first boxer to knock down Nakatani, once in the first round and again in the fourth round. As of May 2021, he has compiled a record of 29-27.

Felix Verdejo turned himself into the police to face charges in the murder of his pregnant girlfriend. In the sadistic slaying, Verdejo allegedly punched Rodriguez in the face, injected her with an unknown liquid, and tied her feet and arms to a block last week, according to the feds.
