On 14th February 1990, Jordan North opened his eyes for the first time in York, North Yorkshire, England however, he grew up in Burnley, Lancashire, living in Harle Syke (hometown). He holds British nationality and British-white ethnicity. Similarly, he is from the Christianity religion and his race is white.   • Jordan North kicks off his career working as a researcher and producer at BBC Radio 5 Live as he started resenting shows on Capital Manchester after recording a "pilot" show for Capital North East whereas he was appointed as the Lancashire station's drivetime presenter in May 2014.
  • Then, he was announced as the new host for the station's Greatest Hits show on Sunday mornings however, he was also announced as the new regular 11 am-1 pm weekend host on BBC Radio 1 from September 2020.
  • He is also the main cover presenter for Scott Mills and Nick Grimshaw, occasionally known as Radio 1's "supply teacher".
