Memphis Depay started playing football for the youth team of Moordrecht in 2000. In 2003, he joined the youth team of Sparta Rotterdam and played until 2006. In 2006, he then joined the youth team of PSV Eindhoven and began his professional career with the club. He became an integral part of the team, scoring 50 goals in 124 games across all competitions.
