Sherra Wright Robinson is an American author as well as the ex-wife of former NBA player Lorenzen Wright who was a player for the University of Memphis who had played for several NBA teams such as; Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies. As an author, she has written a book, "Mr. Tell Me Anything" which is a fiction book that featured what appeared to be a "thinly disguised depiction of her ex-husband". The book told a story of a "deceitful, philandering basketball player" who moves to Memphis, "marries an older woman" and becomes a basketball superstar. Moreover, she reportedly told that "99.99 percent" of the book involved true stories of her life with Lorenzen. She also published weekly columns in a different newspaper. Not only this, but she has also worked in the creative department of the publishers. 

Sherra came to the media limelight after she was charged for the homicide of her ex-husband in association with a man named Bill Ray Turner 25th July 2019 which has been remaining unsolve for over 7 years. On 19th July 2010, her ex-husband, Lorenzen died and she was arrested in California in his death for which she was charged with conspiracy, first-degree murder, and criminal attempt first-degree murder. Lorenzen's body was found in a wooded area in southeast Memphis on July 28 being shot to death. It was confirmed by the police that she had a meeting with Lorenzen, the night he was murdered. According to the news reports, she was involved with a guy named Billy in attempting the homicide, as the police confirmed in the local news. Wright was found 10 days later after his death in Memphis, and she was only the known person who had been last seen with him. In December 2017, she was charged with her ex-husband's murder. Her initial plan was to hire and have two men kill the NBA star at his home in Atlanta, Georgia, but after that attempt failed, she and Billy Turner, whom she met while attending the same church, conspired to kill him in Memphis. After they succeeded in their plan, so as to get rid of the evidence, they then dumped one of the guns into the Mississippi lake, which in the end, became their downfall. She faces thirty years imprisonment for the murder case and the trial was completed by 16th September 2019.
