Harnden was apprehended on Wednesday in Las Vegas and is currently held on a $500,000 bond. Comanche was taken into custody on Friday by the FBI in Sacramento, California, and is being detained without bond. Pending extradition to Nevada, he is scheduled to appear in a Sacramento court on Tuesday, according to law enforcement.
According to NBC News, a dispute between Comanche's girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, and Maryana Rodgers, both sex workers, revolved around a Rolex watch. Allegedly, Rodgers threatened harm if the watch wasn't given to her. On December 6, Comanche devised a plan to deceive them into a compromising situation. Tying their hands behind their backs, he posed as a customer. Subsequently, Comanche and Harnden allegedly strangled Rodgers with an HDMI cord in a vehicle. Despite stopping when she struggled to breathe, Harnden continued choking her. After Rodgers' death, they disposed of her body in a roadside ditch, covering it with rocks. Comanche admitted they initially considered hiring someone to kill Rodgers but ultimately carried out the murder themselves.
