An AFL legend has revealed the unbelievable moment he was shot at by 'territorial hillbillies' during a pre-season training camp in Victoria.
Garry Lyon, a former captain of the Melbourne 'Demons' Football Club, said that during a training session in Ballarat, several members of the team were shot at by angry locals. Lyon said that under the guidance of the legendary football coach, John Northey, the team was running through the bush before two men started firing and chasing the players into the showers.
