Jan Oblak is a Slovenian professional football player. He plays for the Spanish club Atletico Madrid and captains the Slovenian national team. His playing position is a goalkeeper. He is frequently ranked as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
He began his career with Olimpija Ljubljana, making his professional debut at age 16 on 17 May 2009 in the 2008-09 Slovenian Second League.
