An American singer-songwriter, record producer, philanthropist, and actor, John Francis Bongiovi Jr. is professionally known as Jon Bon Jovi. He is well recognized as the founder and frontman of the Grammy Award-winning rock band Bon Jovi, which was formed in 1983. In 2009, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
