She is best known for playing the role of Amy Pond, companion to the Eleventh Doctor, in the BBC One science fiction series, Doctor Who from 2010 to 2013, for which she has earned several awards and nominations such as "TV Quick Award", "Cosmopolitan's Ultimate Women of the Year Award", "Young Scot Awards", "SFX Awards", "TV Choice Award", and "National Television Award".
