EastEnders Star Lacey Turner Spoke About Suffering Two Miscarriages

Lacey Turner, EastEnders' Stacey Slater has opened up about suffering two miscarriages in an emotional interview on This Morning. The 30-years old actress, pregnant with Matt Kaye was emotional when she talked about her previous two miscarriages. 

She stated that she suffered miscarriage seven weeks after her first pregnancy months after her marriage with Matt. She said she felt heartbroken and couldn't understand it.

She suffered a miscarriage for the second time in 2018. She explained that she underwent the same situation around the seven-week mark. The second miscarriage once again devastated and destroyed her.

But this time around, she has high hopes. She also revealed that she went to similar situations as before and went to visit the doctor who said that her progesterone levels had dropped. So the doctors gave her progesterone pessaries. She believed the progesterone pessaries the doctor gave saved her baby.

Lacey Truner was born on 28 March 1988. Her birth name is Lacey Amelia Turner. She was born to a father, Les Turner, and a mother Bev Turner. Her birthplace is in Edgware, London, in England. She holds English nationality. Her zodiac sign is Aries. She was raised Catholic. But she later turned non-religious. She has two younger sisters, Daisy Turner, and Lily Harvey. 

She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School at the age of 10 but left after a year. She has since revealed that she was bullied while at stage school by children for being "geeky". She later attended a local girls' private school, Peterborough and Saint Margaret's School in Stanmore. While at Stanmore, she took dance, singing, and acting classes outside of school. 

Career

She started her career appearing on stages and in advertisements. 

She later auditioned for the role of Demi Miller in the BBC soap opera EastEnders in 2004. 

She failed to get the role of Demi Miller. Instead, she was given the role of Stacey. 

She started in the soap the day after leaving school making her first appearance in November 2004. 

Her character in EastEnders has featured in numerous high-profile storylines including abortion, drug abuse, a troubled relationship with her mother. discovering she has bipolar disorder, an affair with her father-in-law, and the murder of her rapist, Archie Mitchell (Larry Lamb).

She appeared on the series in over 1220 episodes between  2004 and 2010 and since 2014. 

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the soap opera she starred in a live episode of EastEnders in February 2010. 

She announced to leave the show in April 2010 stating, "I'll miss Stacey and everyone in Albert Square very much but the time has come to try something different."

She left the series in December 2010.

She later briefly reprised her role as Stacey Turner in EastEnders starting from February 2014 and left in March 2014. 

She returned to the show full-time in August 2014. 

Her return to the show has featured in a highly acclaimed postpartum psychosis storyline. 

In 2011 she was cast as Lia Shaman in the third series of Being Human. 

She later reprised her role as Lia Shaman for the series finale.
