About Linda Nolan

Linda Nolan, an Irish singer is famous for scoring a minor hit with her sister Coleen as part of the Young & Moody Band in 1981. She and her sisters formed "The Nolan Sisters" in 1974, first appearing on a TV show hosted by Sir Cliff Richard whereas she left "The Nolans" in December 1983. Linda Nolan is a married woman. She was married to Brian Hudson in 1981 whom she met in 1979. Brian was the Nolans' tour manager until 1983 and became his wife's manager after she left the group. Sadly, her husband died after 26 years of marriage in 2007, from liver failure. As of now, she is living a single life. Concerning her sexual orientation, she is straight. Furthermore, Linda does not have any children, and in recent years she has spoken of her regret of focusing on her career and previously not wanting kids.

Additionally, Linda claimed on 7th July 2014 that she was sexually assaulted by Rolf Harris in 1975 while The Nolans were supporting Harris in a tour of South Africa. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and was given the all-clear from cancer in 2011. Linda was also diagnosed with cellulitis and lymphedema in her arm. Badly, she fell on her hip and was taken to hospital, where doctors discovered a form of incurable secondary breast cancer on her pelvis in 2017. But she said that she would reject chemotherapy if the cancer was found to be terminal, after seeing how Bernie was in pain from her chemotherapy in 2013.
