How did Owen Hart Die?

Owen Hart died on 23 May 1999. He died in an accident while performing a WWF stunt at Over the Edge pay-per-view. 

Hart's wife Martha sued the WWF for the wrongful death of her husband. The lawsuit was later settled out of court for approximately $18 million in 2000.
