He started playing football at the age of 10.

He used to be milkman after his period at Ipswich Town.

His brother, Josh Pope is also a talented goalkeeper and currently plays for Soham Town.

In May 2018, he was named in England’s squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia but failed to make an appearance at the tournament.
