He was one of three spokesmen to the former Nigerian President.

On the 17th of August, 2017, the Nigerian Secret police attempted to arrest Reno Omokri at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

He is also the best-selling author of the book, Facts Versus Fiction: The True Story of the Jonathan Years, Chibok, 2015, and the Conspiracies.
