Samantha Ann Quek professionally knows as Sam Quek is an English former field hockey player, writer, and television personality. She is famous for being a contestant in the sixteenth series "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" (2016) finishing in fourth place, "Celebrity Masterchef" (2020) where she reached the final three, and she has presented TV sports shows such as "The NFL Show", "American Football", "rugby Union" on Channel 5, "BT Sport", "LFC TV". She is best recognized for being selected to play for Wirral County at the Merseyside Youth Game and the team won the tournament as well as she played as a defender for both the English and Great Britain team, wearing squad number 13. She was a part of the 2006, & 2013 Women's EuroHockey Junior Championship, at the 2014 Women's Hockey World Cup, and at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She was awarded an MBE in the 2017 New Years Honours List for services to hockey and won gold as part of the British team at the 2016 summer Olympics.

She was selected to play in an All-Stars team versus FA People's Cup challengers and also offered a trial with the Liverpool Ladies FA Women's Super League team. She is a supporter of Liverpool F.C. and also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. She became a sports columnist for the "Metro" newspaper in 2017, a weekly sports columnist for the "Daily Mirror" newspaper. Then she began hosting the BBC's flagship football phone-in program "606" with regular pundit Robbie Savage. In July 2021, Sam Quek would become a team captain on the long-running show "A Question of Sport" alongside former rugby Union player Ugo Monye, her appointment was part of a change to the program's line up which would see Paddy McGuinness take over hosting duties and she called the show's first-ever permanent female captain.
