Treavor Scales is an American sports broadcaster. He is best known as an anchor for ESPN's Sports Center and former varsity football player. He has received great accolades during his varsity football career at Harvard University. In 2009, he was named both Ivy league Rookie of the year and Ivy League Rookie of the Week. Also, he was named as part of the second team in the All-Ivy League and made third in the Ivy League ranking in the following year. In addition, he was named as part of the second team in the All-Ivy league and made the weekly Honor Roll of the Ivy League in 2011. He was also part of the winning touchdown sprint against Yale in 2013.
Though he was an inspiring football player, he aspired for a career in broadcast journalism. From August 2007 to May 2009, Treavor served as a Co-Senor Editor at Dunwoody Academy of Mass Communication. He then became a coach at Alan Chadwick Football Camp-Marist School from June 2009 to July 2009. He also served as a Marketing and Accounting intern at The Intersect Group from June 2010 to August 2010 and was an Office Assistant at Harvard Athletic Association based in Greater Boston Area from June 2011 to August 2011. Later on, he was a proctor at Harvard Summer School from June 2011 to August 2013. He also interned at WBZ FM's The Sports hub and at Comcast SportsNet New England in 2012. From 2010 to 2013, he was a field assistant for the Department of Harvard Athletics. After graduation from Harvard University, he joined ESPN as crew coordinator in July 2013. Since August 2015, He had been a commentator for ESPN, working as a sportscaster and anchor for ESPN's SportsCenter. In January 2021, while SportsNation was renewed on ESPN+ he was added to the new lineup of hosts.
