Early Career of Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan was born on 11 October 1942 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India as Inquilaab Srivastava. He holds Indian nationality and belongs to Kayastha caste or ethnic group. His birth sign is Libra. His birthday falls on 11 October of every year. His upcoming birthday will be celebrated on 11th October of 2020 and it will be his 78th birthday. His father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan was an Awadhi Hindu poet. His mother, Teji Bachchan, was a social activist and Punjabi Sikh woman. His father died in 2003, and his mother in 2007. He has a younger brother, Ajitabh. He first studied at Sherwood College, Nainital. Later he attended Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. • Bachchan made his film debut in 1969, as a voice narrator in Mrinal Sen's National Award-winning film Bhuvan Shome.
• He then played his first antagonist role as an infatuated lover-turned-murderer in Parwana in 1971.
• In 1972 he made an appearance in the road action comedy Bombay to Goa.
• His only film with Mala Sinha, Sanjog (1972) was also a box office success.
