Claire Danes was born on April 12, 1979, in the Manhattan borough of New York City which is her hometown. Her real name is Claire Catherine Danes. She holds an American nationality and belongs to a white ethnicity of German and British descent. Her Zodiac sign is Aries. Her birthday falls on the 12th of April every year. Her father's name is Christopher Danes who is a photographer and mother name is Carla Danes who work as a sculptor and printmaking artist. She has an older brother named  Asa who is a lawyer.
