Colin Kelly Jost, an American comedian, actor, and writer is professionally known as Colin Jost who has been a writer for "Saturday Night Live" since 2005 and "Weekend Update" co-anchor since 2014. This Emmy-nominated comedian and television writer began anchoring SNL's Weekend Update segment in 2014. Less than a year after graduating from Harvard University (where he had worked on the university's humor magazine, the Harvard Lampoon), he joined the Saturday Night Live writing staff. Between 2007 and 2010, he received a Peabody Award and three Writers Guild Awards. He also previously served as one of the show's co-head writers from 2012 to 2015, and later came back as one of the show's head writers in 2017.
