Conan Gray was born on December 5, 1998, in Lemon Grove, California, United States. His birth name is Conan Lee Gray. He was born to an Irish father and a Japanese mother. Gray has an older sister named Alyssa who often appears with him on his YouTube videos. When Gray was an infant, his family moved to Hiroshima, Japan to take care of his grandfather who was critically ill. After the death of his grandfather, his family returned to California. When he was three years old, his parents separated.
