Erik Per Sullivan is an American former actor known for playing Dewey, the youngest brother on the hit TV show Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006). Erik Per Sullivan was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on July 12, 1991. He grew up as an only child of Ann, a Swedish-born American citizen, and his father, Fred Sullivan, owns a Mexican restaurant called The Alamo in Massachusetts. From an early age, He learned to play the piano and saxophone and trained in Tae Kwon Do, where he earned a black belt.
Erik Per Sullivan's educational background includes attending Mount Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island and Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. In 2009, he enrolled at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
