Jeezy is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. Also known as The Snowman, Jeezy is a former gang associate with numerous run-ins with the law. The 42-year-old Columbia, S.C., native has transformed himself into entrepreneur and philanthropist — founding the nonprofit origination, Street Dreamz. Aside from his solo career, he is the leader of the southern hip-hop group ‘United Streets Dopeboyz of America’ and a former member of the rap group ‘Boyz n da Hood.’

Jeezy was born on September 28, 1977, in Columbia, South Carolina. His real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins. He holds American Nationality and belongs to Afro-American ethnicity. His birth sign is Libra.

Soon after his birth, his parents, who were not married, separated. His mother took him to her home in Georgia, where she raised him with the help of her mother. As a young boy he was drawn to rap music as hip-hop songs were popular in the area he grew up. He was raised in poverty, which led him to earn money through unlawful means like selling illegal cell phones and dealing with drugs. Career of Jeezy 

In 2001, under the name Lil J, Young Jeezy released his first independent album, Thuggin' Under the Influence (T.U.I.). In 2003, Jeezy independently released Come Shop wit Me, a two-CD set featuring new tracks along with some songs previously released on T.U.I. In 2004, Jeezy signed with Bad Boy Records and joined the group Boyz n da Hood, whose self-titled album was released in June 2005 and peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Jeezy released his major-label debut, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, on July 26, 2005. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, selling 172,000 copies in its first week and was later certified Platinum by the RIAA.[12] The debut single off his debut album, "And Then What" featured Mannie Fresh and reached #67 on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single off the album, "Soul Survivor" featuring Akon, reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and would become Jeezy's highest-charting single of his career. The third single, "My Hood", reached #77 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2006, Jeezy was featured in Christina Milian's single "Say I". Later that year, on December 12, he released his second major-label album, The Inspiration. Jeezy also extended himself into gaming, portraying himself in the 3D hip-hop fighting game Def Jam: Icon, released in March 2007. Also in 2007, Jeezy's group U.S.D.A released their debut album, Cold Summer.

On September 2, 2008 Jeezy released The Recession, his third studio album. It was announced in November 2009 that Jeezy started working on Thug Motivation 103. Nearly two years after first announcing work on Thug Motivation 103, on May 17, 2011, Jeezy released the first single off Thug Motivation 103, "Ballin", which features Lil Wayne and peaked at #57 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In October 2012, Jeezy released a new single called "Get Right" on iTunes and sent it to the radio. On December 12, 2012, Jeezy released It's Tha World, the aforementioned mixtape. On October 28, 2016, Jeezy released his new album Trap or Die 3, which became available for pre-order on iTunes earlier that month. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming Jeezy's third album to top the chart.

On December 15, 2017, Jeezy released his eighth studio album Pressure. On July 25, 2019, Jeezy announced that his final album TM104: The Legend of the Snowman was released on August 23.

Personal Life of Jeezy

At the time of writing Jeezy is a married man but of Divorced Marital status. Currently, The rapper is the father of three children. He is expected to marry the first time during the Mid of 1990s due to the fact that in October 2005, the mother of his 9-year-old son used his act as the basis to petition for child support.

 At the end of 2016, he was engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Mahi who is also a mother of a five-year daughter. But the couple didn’t walk down to the aisle after being engaged. In early 2019 the duo called off their engagement but the reason is still unknown. 

Recently he is in a love relationship with Jeannie Mai, a TV personality and they are going to married soon. Hip-hop artist Jeezy and “The Real” co-host Jeannie Mai are officially engaged now.

According to People, the “Thuggin’ Under the Influence” rapper proposed on March 27, 2020, although his original plan was to pop the question during an upcoming trip to Vietnam scheduled for this month. Mai's representative said Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, opted to create a special moment at home, due to restricted travel stemming from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

"Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn’t know is that Jay was planning to propose," the unidentified spokesperson reportedly confirmed to the outlet. "Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor."

The couple met during the Def Jam Recordings rap artist’s appearance on Mai’s nationally syndicated talk show, yet didn’t confirm their relationship status until last August when the 41-year-old Emmy winner revealed on the show they’ve had been spending a lot of quality time with one another.

The home has 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and sits on 1.2 acres.

He along with Street Dreamz Foundation donated $1 million to real estate company Jay Morrison Academy to teach people about real estate business.

On September 29, 2007, Jeezy destroyed his Bugatti Veyron when it was hit by a taxi crossing Peachtree Street, outside of Justin's, Sean Combs's club in Atlanta. He has also created a one-of-a-kind car collection that includes the likes of Maybach, Lamborghini, and Rolls Royce.

One of the newer additions to the rapper’s exotic car collection is a new red Ferrari. Jeezy even put on the matching red hat and sweatshirt to go along with the bright red performance car.
