Nathan Benjamin Ake, professionally known as Nathan Ake is a Dutch professional football player. Ake plays as a defender, mostly as a central defender, occasionally as a left-back. Having started his professional football career from the English club, Chelsea, he played for other English clubs, Reading and Watford before joining Bournemouth in 2016. He was part of the Chelsea team that won the 2012-13 UEFA Europa League and the 2014-15 Football League Cup. Despite being featured in very few matches, he has 2 Premier League titles with Chelsea. 

On the international level, he has represented the Netherlands football teams at several age levels. He was part of the Netherlands U17 team that won the UEFA European U17 Championship in 2011 and 2012. He made his senior international debut in 2017.

  • Nathan Ake started playing football joining VV Wilhelmus academy.
