- On 16th November 2019 at UFC on ESPN+ 22, he stepped in on short notice against ''Mauricio Rua'' replacing ''Sam Alvey'' who withdrew from the bout because of a broken hand and after three rounds, the back-and-forth fight was declared a split draw.
- Paul Craig was expected to face ''Ryan Spann'' on 21st March 2020 at UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Edwards, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was cancelled.
- On 26th July 2020, he picked up a beautiful submission victory over ''Gadzhimurad Antigulov'' on the UFC Fight Island major card from Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, and gained the ''Performance of the Night'' award.
- Paul Craig submits Gadzhimurad Antigulov in their opening round with a triangle choke at UFC Fight Island 3. It took him only 2:06 of the first round to beat Gadzhimurad Antigulov with a triangle choke.
- Craig let Antigulov take him down early on in order to set up his own game which he did by tying Antigulov with his legs. He eventually caught him in the triangle while Antigulov continued to ground and pound the Scotsman.
- Paul Craig has now won 3 consecutive fights. Interestingly, all 5 of his UFC wins have come by submission. This means Bearjew is now tied with five others for the most submission wins in UFC light heavyweight history (5).
