Recently, on 8th July 2020, Naya Rivera went missing after their 4-year-old son, Josey was found alone in Rivera's rental boat at Lake Piru in Fillmore, California. Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials reported that Rivera was presumed dead after they Josey told that they went on swimming but her mother never came upon the boat. Her body was recovered on Monday morning. Rivera's body was found exactly seven years after her Glee co-star, Cory Monteith, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room of an overdose of heroin and alcohol. Authorities said there is no indication that drugs or alcohol played a role in her death, but toxicology testing will be done. An autopsy issued by the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled that actress Naya Rivera died as a result of drowning.
