  • Shubman Gill made his List A debut for Punjab in the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy against Vidarbha in February 2017. 
  • He scored his maiden century during his second first-class match, batting for Punjab against Services. 
  • Gill was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹1.8 crore in the 2018 IPL auction and made his T20 debut for the team in April of that year.
