Jeffery Lamar Williams professionally known as Young Thug is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his contemporary trap music, eccentric vocal shape, and fashion. He is considered to be an influential figure of his generation, with his music impacting the modern sound of hip-hop. Young Thug made his debut in 2010. Since then he has released two critically acclaimed albums such as So Much Fun (2019) and Punk (2021) as well as numerous hit singles including "Stoner", "Check", "Best Friend", "Wyclef Jean", "Go Crazy", "Hot", "Bad Body", and "Tick Tock" and others.

Young Thug was born on August 16, 1991, in Sylvan Hills, Atlanta, Georgia, the United States. Out of his parent's 11 children, YoungThug was born as the tenth child. He was charged with seven more offenses relating to the possession of illegal drugs and firearms after a search of his residence. At the Fulton County Superior Court, he was being detained.
