About Andrés Guardado
José Andrés Guardado Hernández is a Mexican professional football player who plays for La Liga club Real Betis and captains the Mexico national team as a defensive midfielder. He started playing football for the youth team of Atlas in 1993 and began his career at the club. In 2007, he officially signed for the Spanish team Deportivo where he spent five seasons. In 2012, he joined another team in Spain, Valencia, with brief loan stints at Bayern Leverkusen and PSV, before permanently joining the latter club in 2015 and winning two Eredivisie titles.
