Clint Eastwood is an American actor, filmmaker, musician as well as politician. Eastwood began his career with small-scale uncredited television appearances and film roles. But, now he is one of the most successful actors, directors, filmmakers, and musicians. To date, he has contributed to over 80 films throughout his career as an actor, director, producer, and composer. His notable films are "Unforgiven", "Million Dollar Baby", "Play Misty For Me", "Firefox", "Tightrope", "PaleRider", "American Sniper", and more. He has also appeared in numerous television series including Rawhide (1959-1965).  

Further, Eastwood is the recipient of four Academy Awards out of 11 nominations, and four Golden Globe Awards out of 13 nominations. He also won numerous other awards such as Guild Awards, César Awards, Japanese Academy Awards, Kinema Junpo Awards, Mainichi Film Awards, and People's Choice Awards.

Clint Eastwood was born on May 31, 1930, at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, in San Francisco, California, the United States. His birth name is Clint Eastwood Jr. He is the son of Clint Eastwood Sr. who was a bond salesperson and later a manufacturing executive and Ruth Wood who was employed at a factory. Similarly, he has a younger sister, Jeanne Bernhardt. He has been nicknamed "Samson" by the hospital nurses because he weighed 11 pounds 6 ounces (5.2 kg) at birth.  

Moreover, Eastwood holds an American nationality and belongs to the White ethnicity. He is of English, Irish, Scottish, and Dutch ancestry. Similarly, he is descended from Mayflower passenger William Bradford, and through this line is the 12th generation born in North America. Concerning his religious belief, he is an atheist as he doesn't believe in god.

In addition, Eastwood attained his preliminary education at Piedmont Junior High School. Later on, he enrolled at Oakland Technical High School. Also, he was called for military duty at the Army Special Services at the age of 20.   • Clint Eastwood made his film debut through a minor role in the science fiction film, "Revenge of the Creature" which was released in 1995.
  • In 1959, he made a guest appearance in the film "Maverick".
  • He also had minor roles in films such as, "Lady Godiva of Coventry", "Never Say Goodbye", "Escapade in Japan", and the French film "Lafayette Escadrille".
  • In the Italian-made western film, "A Fistful of Dollars", he portrayed a cowboy.
  • Subsequently, he starred in the second of the trilogy of "A Fistful of Dollars" titled, "For a Few DollarsMore" and the final part "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".

  • He was appointed by Governor Gray Davis to the California State Park and Recreation Commission in 2001, where he led the charge against a six-lane, 16-mile toll-road extension of California State Route 242 through San Onofre State Beach.
  • In the 2012 presidential election, he endorsed Mitt Romney.
  • Eastwood declared on February 22, 2020, that he would support Democrat Michael Bloomberg in the 2020 presidential election.

Clint Eastwood married twice and divorced twice in his life. As well as he has had numerous casual and serious relationships throughout his life, several of which overlapped. Moreover, he has eight known children by six women, only half of whom were acknowledged at the time.

Firstly, Eastwood married Margaret "Maggie" Johnson on December 1, 1953. The pair had two children Kyle Eastwood (born 1968) and Alison Eastwood (born 1972) together before separating in 1984. Eastwood married for the second time to news anchor, Dina Ruiz in 1996. The couple was blessed with a daughter Morgan Eastwood the same year. However, they got divorced in 2014. 

Since 2014, Eastwood is in a relationship with a restaurant hostess, Christina Sandra. 

Moreover, he was in a domestic partnership with actress Sondra Locke from 1975 to 1989. He was also in a relationship with actress Frances Fisher from 1990 to 1995 and has a daughter named Francesca Eastwood (born 1993) with her. His other children's names are Scott Eastwood, Kathryn Eastwood, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, and Laurie Murray.
