US gymnast Kara Eaker Biography
An American artistic gymnast, Kara Eaker is famous for being a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team in 2017 where she competed in the U.S. National Gymnastics Championships where she placed first on balance beam, third in the all-around, fourth on floor exercise and fifth on uneven bars as well as she placed third on balance beam and fifth in the all-around in U.S Classic. She is the best know for being named to the Junior National Team and also named to the team to compete at the Pan American Championships.
Moreover, Kara Eaker was seen at the American Classic where she placed first on the balance beam, second on floor exercise, and fourth in the all-around in 2018. She completed the fifth-placed on the balance beam at the U.S. Classic and she finished seventh in the all-around at the National Championships in 2018. Also, she participated in the Worlds Team Selection Camp Sarasota where she placed first on the balance beam, sixth in the all-around, eighth on vault, ninth on uneven bars, and fifth on floor exercise. She won the gold medal on the balance beam and the bronze on floor exercise as well as she was named to the team to compete at the 2018 World Championship alongside Simone Biles, Morgan Hurd, Grace McCallum, Riley McCusker, and Regan Smith. In 2019, she was ranked 1st in Balance Beam at GK US Classic 2019. Her match was seen internationally at Gymnix International in Montreal, Pan American Games, and World Championship. She competed at the 2019 U.S. National Championships and she signed her National Letter of Intent with the University of Utah, intending to start in the 2021-22 school year.
On 19 July 2021, Kara Eaker tested positive for COVID-19 while in training in Chiba prefecture outside Tokyo. According to her coach and parent, who has confirmed her test result to multiple media outlets. She states that she had been vaccinated last month and alternates can replace gymnasts on the team if needed before the competition begins, but the positive test takes Eaker out of consideration. In April 2021, she was seen at American Classic and was ranked 5th in all-around with a score of 52.700, and 3rd on the balance beam. She competed at National Championship, and U.S Classic. She was named to the national team and selected to compete at the upcoming Olympic Trials where she finished seventh in all-around and 2nd on balanced beam.
