An English actress, singer, and dancer, Valentine Ruth Henshall is professionally known as Ruthie Henshall. She is well recognized for her work in musical theatre. She was part of the original London cast of Miss Saigon in 1989-1990, and portrayed Roxie Hart in both the London and Broadway performances of "Chicago".  She made her debut at a local production before joining a touring production of "A Chorus Line". She started her professional stage career in 1986, before making her West End debut in "Cats" in 1987.
