Victor James Osimhen is a Nigerian professional football player. He currently plays for Serie A club Napoli and the Nigeria national team. His playing position is a striker.

Victor Osimhen began his senior career in Germany at VfL Wolfsburg in 2017. In August 2018, he joined Belgian club Charleroi on a season-long loan deal. Following his impressive performances, in July 2019, Charleroi permanently signed from VfL Wolfsburg for the transfer fee of €3.50 million. In July 2019, he signed for Lille OSC for the transfer fee of €22.40 million and went on to play one season at the club. In September 2020, he was transferred to Serie A club Napoli for a club-record fee of €70 million, making him the most expensive African transfer to date.


On the international level, Victor Osimhen has represented Nigeria at various age levels. He has represented Nigeria at U17, U23, and the senior level. He was named to the squad of the Nigeria U17 team that won the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile where he won the Golden Boot and Silver Ball awards. His performances also earned him the CAF Youth Player of the Year award in 2015. He made his senior international team debut for Nigeria on 1 June 2017. He was part of Nigeria’s squad that finished in third place in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
