Vijay Deverakonda was born on 9th May 1989. He hails from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana), India. Deverakonda Vijay Sai is his birth name. Belonging to Indian-Asian ethnicity and holding Indian nationality, his family hails from Thummanpeta village in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district (now Nagarkurnool). His parents are Govardhan Rao and Madhavi, with his father having been a television serial director who left the industry due to lack of success.
