DeAndre Yedlin is an American professional soccer player. He is famous for currently playing for Major League Soccer club Inter Miami and the United States national team. Primarily playing in the position of right-back, he has also featured as a right wing-back and wide midfielder. Yedlin played youth soccer for Emerald City FC and Northwest Nationals before joining the U.S. Soccer Development Academy club Crossfire Premier. On February 8, 2011, he committed to playing college soccer at the University of Akron under coach Caleb Porter.

Notably, he scored his inaugural collegiate goal on September 28, 2011, in a 3–1 triumph over Ohio State, concluding the year with six assists and earning a spot on the College Soccer News Freshman All-American team.   • On January 11, 2013, DeAndre Yedlin, having completed two seasons with Akron, joined Seattle Sounders FC as the club's inaugural homegrown player.
