Youth career
- Lucas Piazon kicks off his football career with Coritiba from where he moved to the neighboring club, Atletico Paranaense in 2007 but again he left his family behind in Curitiba and joined Sao Paulo at the age of 14. He scored in the 3-0 win versus Manchester United in the group stage which helps Sao Paulo to beat Werder Bremen in the final match.
Chelsea
- Piazon joined the club in a 5 million pound ($10million) move from Sao Paulo back in 2012 whereas Sao Paulo announced on 15th March 2011 that he could only play for the Chelsea senior team after 20th January 2012 when he became eligible to obtain a work visa.
- He then made his debut for the reserve team against Fulham as he scored his first reserve goal in an away victory against Arsenal.
- He has scored twice in five games for the reserves and once in six for the youth team, most notably the winner in the FA Youth Cup tie against Doncaster Rovers however, he won the FA Youth Cup on 9th May 2012 against Blackburn, although failing to score in the match.

Loan to Vitesse
- Also, Piazon was loaned to Eredivisie club Vitesse until the end of the 2013-2014 season on 9th August 2013 where he made his debut for Vitesse in a 1-1 draw at Roda JC on 17th August 2013 however, he scored his first goals in his professional career and for Vitesse, scoring a brace in the 3-0 win at home to PEC Zwolle on 22nd September.
Loan to Frankfurt
- Lucas joined Frankfurt on loan for the 2014-2015 season on 24th July 2014 as he scored his first goal in a 4-2 friendly win against Sampdoria on 2nd August and made his debut in the Bundesliga against SC Freiburg, a 1-0 victory on 23rd August.
Loan to Reading
- Lucas was also loaned to Reading on a season-long loan deal on 31st August 2015 where he made his debut and provided an assist to Oliver Norwood in a 5-1 triumph against Ipswich Town coming on as a 77th-minute substitute for Matej Vydra on 11th September.
Loan to Fulham
- Piazon joined Fulham on a season-long loan, joining Chelsea teammate Tomas Kalas on 31st August 2016, and made his Fulham debut and scored his first goal for the club in a 2-1 EFL Cup defeat against Bristol City on 21st September.
Loan to Chievo
- Lucas Piazon joined Chievo Verona on loan in January 2019 where he played four times before returning to Chelsea.
Loan to Rio Ave
- In September 2019, Lucas joined Rio Ave on loan, until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
Braga
- Chelsea has released Lucas Piazon after nine years, with the attacker agreeing to a four-and-a-half-year contract with Portuguese side Braga. Braga will not pay a fee for Piazon, who is still to complete a medical with the Primeira Liga side.
- The transfer was delayed, however, after Rio Ave refused to give up the registration for Piazon to a rival, despite Chelsea having the contractual right to recall and sell their player. The 26-year-old was forced to wait for his move while club lawyers and FIFA's TMS department got involved in resolving the dispute to allow the transfer to go through.
- At Braga, he will be reunited with former Rio Ave manager Carlos Carvalhal, who brought him to the Portuguese league.

- Lucas Piazon has represented Brazil at both under-15 and under-17 levels as well as he helped his team to second place in the South American Under-15 Football Championship of 2009 in Bolivia at the under-15 level.
